For example a couple facing relationship challenges might set goals for better communication and identify positive changes.
 
5. Psychodynamic Therapy 
This therapy explores unconscious processes and unresolved past conflicts that affect current behavior, aiming to enhance self-awareness and understanding emotional difficulties. It's effective for complex emotional issues and chronic health conditions. For instance, someone with unresolved childhood trauma might explore how those experiences influence their current relationships.
 
6. Trauma Therapy 
Trauma therapy includes various approaches designed to individuals heal from traumatic experiences, such as EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, and somatic experiencing. It's used for treating PTSD, complex trauma, and related conditions. example, a person who experienced a traumatic car accident may use EM to process distressing memories.
