Mind Reader and Privacy

Every effort has been made to ensure that all interactions with the Mind Reader service are secure and confidential. When you communicate with someone at Mind Reader, nothing said or written will be disclosed outside the Mind Reader team without your explicit permission. There are a few exceptions, such as if there is concern about your safety or the safety of another individual. In these instances, the Mind Reader staff member will discuss with you what needs to happen and what additional support you may need to ensure your safety.

If necessary, we may need to provide your contact information (if supplied) to authorities who can help protect you and/or others, such as crisis services or law enforcement. Where possible, we will inform you if our concerns necessitate the involvement of other services.

Mind Reader uses de-identified or aggregated information to evaluate and develop our services and to understand the health needs of young people.

Your email address will not be added to any mailing lists without your permission. Some non-identifiable data you provide will be included in statistical reporting, such as gender and age demographics.
